In these times of isolation, I’m testing an online 2 hour workshop next Wed 25th March, called

It’s live-streaming from my desktop & then the garden, using Discord. If it works, I’ll set up another one—if you’d like to sign up, email me

New garden design project

Very happy to be working on a lovely garden design project locally, lots of hard landscaping on the patio, with two beds round the side of the house and a 20m x 10m forest garden at the back of the house. Designing with herbs & edibles for the BBQ on the patio, with lots of native plants from The Wildflower Nursery, a local Pembrokeshire nursery.

Bulk buy peat free compost price list

#PeatFreeApril

PeatFreeApril is a volunteer-run campaign to promote the use of #PeatFree compost. I’ve created a bulk-buy price list in PDF format for gardening clubs & community organisations, listing compost from Dalefoot Composts, Fertile Fibre and Melcourt. I’ve also helped create a #PeatFree UK Parliament petition.

Woodland scene

I’ve been building plenty of dead hedges this winter and was out in the wood this week, thinning Sycamore trees for fuel. Spring flowers are out in force, really quite beautiful.
