I’m sure you’ll want to know what happened to April. Well, April’s loss is May’s gain, because there will be two newsletters in May now! Finally, climate change is making headlines in the news, and a forest garden is a good place to start 💚 🌳

I am in love with my dead hedge

I heard about dead hedges a couple of months ago; they’re simply branches laid between two posts. I have found them life changing!

They reduce the need for  bonfires and chipping, whilst providing shelter for plants and habitat for wildlife, all while using “waste”.

Tours & workshops are go

I had a couple of tours & workshops over Easter, hopefully it will pick up for the summer. I also received my first workshop review, a resounding 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 😎

A forest garden is good for climate change

Thanks to the law-breaking efforts of Extinction Rebellion and School strike for climate students, climate change is finally in the news. A forest garden is #ClimateAction in Action.

I don’t like Facebook much (because of their nefarious affect on politics) but there are good bits. The Forest Garden UK group is great, there are movers creating community forest gardens. Also of interest is the National Forest Gardening Scheme. And don’t forget Incredible Edible
