We can create gardens that cater for wildlife & humans; this is at the very heart of forest gardening. A fantastic resource is the Database of Insects and their Food Plants. The native Tansy is a host plant for more than 6 beetles, 1 fly and 18 micro-moths.

Garden writer and activist Nic Wilson has created a list of #PeatFree nurseries. Don’t just buy peat free compost, make sure your plants are peat free as well! And sign the petition too 🙂
