Livestream—Plan a Backyard Forest!

 Nature Works

Wednesday 15th September, 10am BST

Plan a Backyard Forest

In this one hour special livestream, I’ll be showing you everything you need to create a plan for your forest garden, from a definition of a forest garden is, through creating a map, to making a wishlist of features and plants.

The hope is that I can use the recording to update my existing free mini-course, which I did over a year ago, reading a

script

and an

autocue

, can you believe it?! 🤷🏾‍♂️ This will be a really good for beginners and as a refresher, so please do spread the word.

In related news, I have moved my Backyard Forest course from Udemy to Gumroad, so that I have more control over pricing and marketing. Only £49.99 until the end of September, then the price goes up to £74.99.

If there is the demand for it, there will be a Zoom chat afterwards, all welcome.

The original mini-course, with a rather stilted performance!

The video is up on my Nature Works YouTube channel.

Sneak Nature Works website preview

Normally I reserve this section for highlighting greate resources and fab people like Sarah Wilson at Roots and All podcast (thanks for all the podcasts 💚) or Charlie Warner at Quinky Plants (thanks for all the 9cm pots 😁).

But today, I wanted to blow my own trumpet 🎺 — finally, I’m getting together the new Nature Works website at natureworks.org.uk. Woot. It’s still very much beta, with lots of placeholder text and blank pages about the place.

The main motivation for this is to get more forest garden design work in — oh yes, I am finally building a portfolio. And most importantly, it's to have a new home for my course slides. Loads of information, always freely accessible at natureworks.org.uk/backyard
